What data I process
Through the contact form on this website I process the data you voluntarily provide: your full name, email address, phone number, and the message text describing your legal issue.
Please note that the message text may contain sensitive data (for example about health, a criminal matter, or family circumstances) if you choose to include it. Please only include information necessary for an initial assessment of your matter.
Purpose and legal basis
Data from the form is processed solely to handle your inquiry and any subsequent legal cooperation. The legal basis is steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to inquiries received (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Where a message contains a special category of data under Art. 9 GDPR, the legal basis is your consent, given by voluntarily sending the message.
Retention period
Messages from the contact form are kept for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry, for a maximum of 2 years from receipt. If a client relationship is established, data is further processed to the extent and for the duration required by the specific regulations governing the practice of law and case-file management.
Who has access to the data
I do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Access may be available only to the technical hosting and email service provider, strictly to the extent necessary to keep the website running.
Cookies
This website uses a single, strictly necessary cookie (akmm_session) required for basic
site functionality and to protect forms against abuse. No analytics, marketing, or third-party tracking
cookies are used.
Security
The website is available exclusively over a secure HTTPS connection, so data submitted through the form is encrypted in transit.
Your rights
Regarding the processing of your personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your data, to object to its processing, and to data portability. If you believe your rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.sk).
